William has over three years of experience in M&A, private equity, and corporate advisory. He joined Ascend in 2024 and serves as an Investment Banking Associate. Prior to this, he was a private equity associate at Bestige Holdings in New York, where he focused on middle market buyout transactions. Additionally, William was an investment banking analyst at Centerview Partners where he worked on complex financial transactions across a broad range of verticals including consumer, industrials, and fintech.

Before his career in finance, William served in the United State Army as an active duty soldier within the 2nd Infantry Division where he participated in multiple joint military operations with NATO forces.

William graduated Magna Summa Laude from the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Philosophy Politics & Economics and minored in East Asian Studies. He was also a member of the Beta Tau chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, a national political science honors society.
